Purpose and availability

Caroline Gmail Desktop is a privately maintained tool for its owner's writing, research, email reading and inbox organisation. It is not offered as a public service. This website provides information only and does not create an account, subscription or paid service.

Authorised use

Use is limited to the configured mailbox and the permissions its owner has granted. The application must not be used to obtain unauthorised access, evade service restrictions or distribute material without the necessary rights. Google consent and the application's own action limits both apply.

Review and reliability

Searches, newsletter selection and AI-generated summaries may be incomplete or mistaken. Check important information against the original messages. Inbox changes should remain within the owner's instructions and recorded permissions.

Access depends on the Mac, its connection and the external services used. Availability and uninterrupted authorisation are not guaranteed; Google may require consent again. Moving an OAuth app to Production does not imply Google verification or permanent access.

Content and privacy

Messages and source material remain subject to their existing ownership and rights. Access through Gmail does not grant permission to republish them. The privacy policy describes local storage, external AI processing and the distinction between stopping access and removing saved data.

Ending use

The owner may stop using Caroline, pause collection or revoke Google access. Those actions do not automatically erase previously saved material. Removal can be arranged separately as described in the privacy policy.

Questions and changes

Contact her.owncloud@gmail.com with questions about the application or these terms. Material changes to its purpose, permissions or data handling require a new owner decision and updated disclosures.
